What is The Landlord Ledger?
The Landlord Ledger is an expense tracking app built specifically for landlords and rental property investors. It helps you track every expense, contractor payment, and receipt across every rental so your cash flow numbers are always accurate.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! Every new account includes a full 14-day free trial with complete access to all features. No credit card required to start.
What plans are available?
We offer three plans — Solo (1 property), Pro (up to 5 properties), and Team (unlimited properties with team collaboration). Visit our pricing page for current rates.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes! The Landlord Ledger is available as a web app at thelandlordledger.com and as an Android app on Google Play. iOS is coming soon.
How do I track expenses?
Simply log into your account, select your active project, and tap "Add Expense." You can categorize by type (materials, labor, permits, etc.), add photos of receipts, and set reminders for upcoming payments.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export all your expense data to CSV at any time from the dashboard. This is useful for sharing with your accountant or importing into other software.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. Your data is stored securely with encryption in transit and at rest. We never sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I manage multiple properties?
Yes. Pro and Team plan users can manage multiple rental properties simultaneously, each with their own tenants, rent, expenses, photos, and lease timeline.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing in your account. Your access continues until the end of your billing period. See our Cancellation Policy for more details.
